We have received good response from the participants.

Maharshi Dayanand College Library thanks to all the participants for submitting best poster for this event on the occasion of National Librarian’s Day celebration on 12^th August 2020.

Digital Certificate of all the participant will be issued in three days. All the winners will get surprise gift once the lockdown is over.

Poster Competition on “Best Library in India" on the Occasion of National Librarian’s Day Celebration on 12^th August 2020

Important Instructions

1.   Include full address of the Library which you select for making poster with website address/URL. You can also give some catchy title of your poster.

2.   Poster should be A4 size single page with 1” margin all sides. It should include Unique salient features of the library, type of Library [Academic, Special, Public] and give reasons why you think this could be the best library in India.

3.   Language of Poster: English, Marathi or Hindi

4.   You can add at least one image of the library , preferably copyright free image or else give due credit to the source

5.   An E-certificate will be given to all the participants

6.   Three Prizes will be awarded for best poster in each category.

7.   The Last date of online Submission of poster is 9^th August 2020 till 6.00 p.m.

8.   All the participants please write your Name and Institution name with place at right bottom corner of the poster with font size 10.

9.   Participants should also write Poster Submitted to M.D.College, Library, Parel, Mumbai on [date] at left bottom corner with font size 10

11.        Maximum File size of the poster will be 1 MB in PDF format. You can submit your entry only once.

12.        Result will be displayed on 12^th August 2020 at 3.00p.m. on M.D.College Library Facebook page.

13.        There is no age bar for ‘Book Lovers’

·         Aware of Library rules & Regulation

·         Using maximum library services

            Library & Mending Minds Counseling Cell

The Department of Psychology and Mending Minds Counseling Cell is pleased to announce ‘Students Enrichment Program’ in collaboration with Library on

31^st of July 2018 from 10.00AM -11.00 PM in Main Library.

This Workshop will be highlighting the psychological aspects involved in reading habits, critical aspects of reading, understanding your own views.

Workshop will be comprised of few competitions and some innovative activities which will benefit students in their overall growth.

Competitions are as follows:

1.     1.Dialogue with the dictionary

                                                               

 2. Poster     Competition:

Topics: Poetry, Magazine, Novel, My Favorite Book from the Library, My Favorite Author

 (Students are expected to make the poster with creative ideation on the topics mentioned along with few critical comments on the Poster)

                                                        

 3. Spell-o-fun

And of course winner gets the prize too!! Grab this opportunity to be more with the books and explore the journey of READING!!!
